The Tenergy T1000 is an inexpensive LED desk lamp that offers extra portability since it can operate either via AC power or via an internal rechargeable battery.
This 30-element LED array is dimmable through three brightness levels. Even better, it can be removed from its power cord and operate away from AC power. My experience is that it is good for about 2.5 hours. The applications for those who find themselves faced with inadequately lit task areas are endless.
When off, the power lamp glows a subdued amber color. The flexible goosneck offers flexibility in where to direct the light.
Overall, this is a very strong perfomrer. If you're looking to break away from a halogen or incandescent LED desk light, this is cool-running and power-saving option.
